Bike the Bridge and ferry back with the Charleston Water Taxi

Bike the Bridge Rentals and Charleston Water Taxi have partnered to offer a unique roundtrip package over the longest cable-stayed bridge in North America with a ferry back across the harbor.

CHARLESTON, SC – Bike the Bridge Rentals and the new Charleston Water Taxi have partnered to provide a round trip bike ride over the Arthur Ravenel, Jr. Bridge from 360 Concord Street (by the floating dock to the left of the Aquarium) to the Yorktown with a pleasant boat ride back to the Maritime Center on the Charleston Water Taxi’s new 49 passenger catamaran.

Bike the Bridge Rentals, a new recreational bike rental company, offers riders the chance to rent or purchase Raleigh 7 speed comfort bikes to travel over the Arthur Ravenel, Jr. Bridge ( the largest cable-stayed bridge in North America) and around our beautiful historic city. Self-guided tours are available highlighting our best attractions through historical Charleston. Charleston Water Taxi has launched its 49 passenger ferry from Maritime Center, located next to Aquarium Wharf downtown Charleston, across the harbor to the Yorktown and back to the Maritime Center.
The two companies are offering a truly unique and healthy way to see Charleston from land to sea.

Reservations are recommended with groups of 8 or more. Rates are $20 per person and include a three hour bike rental and water taxi back to your original departure point.
